Orion Placement is assisting a Newark, NJ-based law firm in recruiting an attorney licensed to practice in New Jersey. The role covers immigration, criminal defense, family law, and personal injury with on-site work five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in immigration, criminal defense, traffic, and occasionally family law and personal injury cases.
• Handle daily court appearances (often virtual) and manage a varied caseload.
• Conduct client intakes, consultations, and maintain open communication throughout the case.
• Review and manage discovery, case files, and related documentation.
• Draft and file legal complaints and obtain necessary records, such as medical documents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive case handling.
• Participate in training and development programs to advance your legal expertise.
