Job summary

Safeguard Law Group, PLLC. is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join our Arizona practice remotely.

The ideal candidate has experience drafting pleadings and memoranda, strong organizational skills, and is prepared for a heavy workload in consumer protection matters including civil litigation and transactional work conducted with our New York headquarters via email and telecommunication. Candidates must be located in Arizona to be considered.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice law in Arizona.
• At least 1 year of experience at a law firm.
• Strong organizational & time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills with applicants and staff.
• Proficiency in LexisNexis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the Firm’s clients in Arizona.
• Communicating with clients regarding their matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law.
• While this role is based from home, travel for in-court appearances will be required.

Associate Attorney

We are looking for a full-time Associate Attorney to join our firm's practice in Arizona. The ideal candidate is one who has experience drafting legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda, has strong organizational skills, and is willing to take on a heavy workload. This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters. Because our firm’s headquarters are in New York, this position entails communicating with our main office exclusively via telephone and electronic means (e-mail, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

Candidates must be currently located in Arizona to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong legal research skills -- proficiency in LexisNexis is a plus
