Monteforte Law, P.C. | Woburn, Massachusetts
Become the kind of lawyer clients turn to for advice - not simply documents. Monteforte Law is an established and growing Massachusetts estate planning, elder law and probate firm. For 20 years, we've helped families make important decisions about their assets, their aging, their long-term care, and the people they love.
We're looking for an attorney who wants to become an exceptional counselor and advisor to clients.
You do not need to arrive as an expert in every area we practice. Estate planning or elder law experience is valuable, but it isn't the most important thing we're looking for.
We care about whether you're smart, curious, comfortable working directly with clients, willing to take ownership, receptive to coaching, and motivated to grow into greater responsibility.
You’ll work with our legal team on estate planning, trusts, probate, elder law and long-term-care planning.
Your responsibilities will be based on your existing experience and will grow as you demonstrate readiness. You’ll have the opportunity to analyze legal issues, help design estate plans, counsel clients, review and supervise work, take ownership of client matters, and ultimately lead client planning meetings of your own.
This is not a position designed around spending your days quietly drafting documents for someone else to review.
Our goal is to develop an attorney who can own a matter, advise a client, exercise sound judgment, and confidently lead a room.
Experience in estate planning, elder law, probate, trusts, tax, real estate, family law, litigation, or another client-facing practice may be valuable, but specific estate-planning experience is not required.
We're interested not only in what you've already done, but in the attorney you have the potential to become.
We believe great lawyers do more than know the law. They know how to listen, ask the right questions, explain difficult concepts clearly, exercise judgment, and help clients make important decisions.
You’ll receive substantial training and mentoring, direct client experience, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to develop skills that go well beyond legal research and document preparation.
As the firm continues to grow, we're looking for someone who wants the opportunity to grow with it.
$90,000-$100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus benefits.
