Job description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Associate Attorney with Ganey Law Group. Ganey Law Group is a private-client focused immigration law firm. We put individuals at the center of each engagement, leveraging our knowledge and experience to help our clients and their families successfully navigate the complex immigration system.

The attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload of employment and family-based immigration cases, counseling clients, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and corresponding with government agencies, and providing guidance to a team of paralegals and legal assistants. This role involves some work at our Washington, DC office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of employment and family-based immigration matters from initiation through resolution.
  • Assist with complex and high-profile matters that require creative solutions.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support strategies and client representation.
  • Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and related documentation with government agencies.
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with clients, government agencies, and internal teams.
  • Act as a primary contact for client and staff inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to ensure timely and effective case progression.
  • Assist with process and workflow improvement.
  • Stay up to date with changes in immigration laws and policies.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment and family-based immigration law.
