We handle high-profile engagements, assisting clients with their regulatory obligations under settlement agreements, or in addressing concerns involving issues such as bribery, corruption, fraud, and other conduct involving corporate-culture.

We are seeking an action-oriented self-starter with unimpeachable integrity who will work both autonomously and within AMI teams to deliver excellence in independent compliance consulting and monitoring appointments, as well as proactive compliance risk management matters. Responsibilities to Include

  • Work independently and with team members as the project coordinator to successfully execute projects involving independent monitoring
  • Facilitate baseline monitoring and proactive risk management assessments of clients’ compliance programs and controls
  • Upon demonstrated competence, lead your own assessment teams
  • Develop and refine engagement approaches and project work plans based on guidance from team leadership and draft value-add work papers
  • Conduct information-gathering sessions, focus groups, and interviews
  • Analyze communications, financials, policies, systems, and documentation
  • Independently interact with monitored entity and client representatives, and deliver high-quality work product, specifically written reports and presentations
  • Work on and lead company internal projects and initiatives

Required Experience & Skills

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to a state bar
  • 2+ years of legal experience in a law firm or government agency
  • Familiarity with government, enforcement, and regulatory standards
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Facility for project management and attention to detail
  • An analytical problem solver with experience working in a database, claim management, contract, and/or document review platforms
  • An ability to do some domestic and/or international travel

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with federal regulatory matters
  • Experience as a government attorney such as an Assistant Attorney General or an Assistant District Attorney
  • Experience in a firm practicing a few areas of law as a generalist and/or business law
  • Completion of a professional compliance certification and/or recognized ethics and compliance training or an in-house Ethics & Compliance program experience
  • Experience with U.S. government/public contracting and/or experience in U.S. healthcare law
  • Proficiency in language(s) other than English
