Job summary

Modern Family Law in Seattle seeks a Hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney to join our Seattle, WA office. You will handle a variety of family law matters, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support, with direct client contact.

This role emphasizes developing substantive litigation skills early in your career within a collaborative team. We offer a remote-first setting with in-person space when required.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of Family Law experience.
  • Active admission to the Washington State Bar.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, the Family Law Associate Attorney will:
  • Be adept at handling a variety of family law cases, such as divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.

Mandatory Notices for Applicants

Compensation: $135,000 - $199,680 annually.This rangepresented is a reliable estimate of the base salary plus potential commissions based on billable hours and collections that this individual is expected to receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance with an optional Health Savings Account (HSA), short-term disability, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k) Retirement Plan, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.

Additional voluntary programs include voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life insurance, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance, and pet insurance. Commuter and transit benefit programs may also be available in certain markets.

  • 0-3 years of Family Lawexperience.
  • Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates interested in practicing Family Law.
  • Active admission to theWashingtonState Bar.
