Job summary

Synectics Inc. in Seattle seeks an attorney with 3+ years' experience to support high-net-worth probate matters within our Estate Planning and Probate practice.

The ideal candidate will take a strategic, leadership role, mentor junior attorneys, and engage directly with clients while handling drafting, tax, and estate administration tasks. Washington State Bar membership is required; an LLM in Taxation is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of probate experience within a Estate Planning and Probate practice.
• Strong drafting, tax, and estate administration experience with active Washington State Bar license.
• Ideal candidate will lead matters and mentor others while maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support high net worth probate matters in the Estate Planning and Probate practice.

• This role offers hands-on mentorship, client interaction, and leadership opportunities, requiring strong drafting, tax, and estate administration experience along with an active Washington State Bar licenes
• Seeking an attorney with at least three years' experience to support high net worth probate matters in the firm's Estate Planning and Probate practice group.
• An ideal candidate will be a self-starter who looks to take a strategic and leadership role in the matters they support.
• he soft skills of client and interpersonal relationships are just as important as the hard skills of drafting, writing and research.
• Working side by side with partners, the candidate will receive practical, real mentorship as they provide quality and effective representation.
• Experience in administrating taxable estates, including preparation of trust and estate accountings and tax returns.
• Master of Law in Taxation (LLM) preferred.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Washington State.
• Washington State Bar membership is a requirement.
