Job summary

Orionplacement is seeking a Seattle-based estate planning and probate attorney to join our respected trusts and estates practice. You will draft wills, trusts, and tax-focused documents, manage probate matters, and advise clients on wealth transfer strategies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with seasoned attorneys, a mentorship-friendly environment, and a hybrid schedule after onboarding. Washington Bar admission and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Active Washington Bar license is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of estate planning and probate law experience.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong organizational skills.
  • LL.M. in Tax is a plus.
  • Experience from private practice encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Manage probate and trust administration matters from start to finish.
  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies, wealth transfer, and tax considerations.
  • Prepare and review estate, gift, and related tax filings.
  • Draft sophisticated trust documents, including irrevocable and tax-focused planning vehicles.
  • Conduct legal research and provide practical solutions for trusts and estates issues.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, and other professionals.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver exceptional client service.

Pay: $145,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
