Job summary

Elite Sourcing is partnering with a Bay Area AV-rated law firm to hire an Insurance Coverage Attorney. The role will handle coverage matters and related litigation while taking on significant case-handling responsibilities.

The attorney will analyze policies, draft opinions and pleadings, conduct legal research, manage files through resolution, and interact with clients and carriers. A JD is required with insurance coverage experience preferred; hybrid or remote work is available along with

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Insurance coverage and/or litigation experience; strong preference for insurance coverage experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid or fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance coverage matters and related civil litigation.
• Analyze insurance policies, coverage issues, and potential exposure.
• Draft coverage opinions, correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex insurance coverage issues.
• Manage case files and assume significant responsibility from inception through resolution.
• Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Work independently while collaborating with partners and other attorneys on complex matters.

• Analyze insurance policies, coverage issues, and potential exposure
• Draft coverage opinions, correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex insurance coverage issues
• Manage case files and assume significant responsibility for matters from inception through resolution
• Assist with discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings
• Communicate directly with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and other parties
