This full-time role offers exposure to oil and gas, real property, probate, business law, and civil litigation, with mentorship from seasoned attorneys and a collaborative team environment.

Ideal candidates hold a JD, Texas State Bar membership, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
• 1–3 years of legal experience preferred; open to new attorneys with internships.
• Experience or interest in property, estates/probate, oil and gas, business law, or civil litigation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in relevant matters.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, wills, and transactional agreements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and reports.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records of client communications.
• Negotiate on behalf of clients in transactional and litigation contexts.
• Collaborate with other attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure timely resolution.

Role Summary

The Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation to clients across a variety of practice areas. The role involves a balance of litigation and transactional work, offering exposure to a wide range of complex legal matters. This position requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is eager to grow their legal career under the mentorship of seasoned attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in matters involving real property, oil
• gas, estate planning and probate, and business law
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, contracts, wills, and transactional agreements
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and reports
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records of client communications and case developments
• Negotiate on behalf of clients in both transactional and litigation contextsCollaborate with other attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure timely, effective resolution of legal matters

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the Texas State Bar
• 1–3 years of legal experience preferred (open to newly licensed attorneys with strong internships or clerkships)
• Experience or strong interest in any of the following areas: property law, estates and probate, oil
• gas law, business law, and civil litigation
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication abilities
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple cases and deadlines
