Job summary

Our client, a well-established insurance defense law firm, seeks an Associate Attorney to own a docket, gain trial experience, and work in a collaborative, well-structured environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of litigation experience, with a background in insurance defense or personal injury preferred (plaintiff-side considered). A Texas Bar license in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of litigation experience.
• Background in insurance defense or personal injury preferred (plaintiff-side considered).
• Demonstrated stability (no frequent job changes).
• Strong communication and responsiveness.
• Willingness to try cases and manage matters independently.
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Fully manage a docket of approximately 30 cases.
• Handle matters from inception through resolution/trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Communicate professionally and timely with clients and team members.
