You will work closely with our senior partners and associates, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. Responsibilities
  • Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys.
  • Create legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, motions, pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.
  • Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff.
  • Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals.
  • Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently determine the best course of action.
  • Investigate and gather evidence related to personal injury cases, including police reports, medical records, and witness statements.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel to reach a settlement agreement.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Attend depositions and conduct witness interviews.
  • Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their case.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop legal strategies and arguments.
  • Maintain accurate and complete case files and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Passed the bar exam.
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Utah State Bar (or Arizona).
  • Experience practicing personal injury law.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven track record of successful settlements and verdicts.
  • Experience with case management software and technology.Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA).
