Job summary

Robertson Firm in St. Augustine, FL is seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in construction law to join our experienced team and grow with us.

You will represent clients in construction-related litigation, arbitration, and transactional matters, draft and negotiate contracts, and advise on lien law and bond claims. Manage a busy caseload with the support of a seasoned firm and build strong, lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of legal experience in construction law.
  • Active Florida Bar in good standing.
  • Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
  • Collaborative, client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in construction-related litigation, arbitration, and transactional matters.

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our construction law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on sophisticated construction matters alongside a seasoned team, with a clear path for professional growth and reward for strong performance.

What You'll Do
  • Represent clients in construction-related litigation, arbitration, and transactional matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and related agreements
  • Advise clients on lien law, bond claims, and construction defect issues
  • Manage a caseload with support from an experienced firm team
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 3–5 years of legal experience (construction law experience preferred)
  • Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
  • Strong research, writing, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • A collaborative, client-focused approach to practicing law
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $110,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience

Bonus opportunities available after minimum billing requirements are met

Billing requirement: 1,320 hours annually (110 hours/month)
