Job summary

Leoforce in Sacramento, CA is seeking an experienced civil litigation attorney to manage matters from inception through appeal. You will draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery in state and federal court, and conduct or defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.

Qualifications

• J.D. and licensed to practice in California (Nevada or Oregon a plus).
• Minimum 2 years of experience handling civil litigation matters.
• Recent experience with the practice areas listed above.

• Manage all aspects of civil litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery responses in state and federal court.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Handle mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy aligned with client goals.
• Provide coverage opinions and risk analysis for insurers and corporate clients.
• Represent clients in trial and appellate proceedings as needed.
