Dunlap Seeger, P.A. in Rochester, MN, seeks an Associate Attorney to join our long-standing, client-focused firm.

Depending on your interests, you may focus on estate planning, real estate, litigation, or a combination, with a collaborative team and mentorship. You will meet clients, draft wills and trusts, handle probate and real estate documents, and manage civil litigation matters from filing through resolution.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota or eligible for admission.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters while providing outstanding client service.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience in estate planning, real estate, or litigation welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Meeting directly with clients and providing practical legal guidance.
• Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Assisting clients with probate and trust administration.
• Representing buyers, sellers, lenders, and businesses in real estate transactions.
• Drafting and reviewing purchase agreements, deeds, leases, and related documents.
• Handling civil litigation matters from initial filing through resolution.
• Conducting legal research and preparing pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Appearing at court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Mentoring and professional development within the firm.

What You'll Do.
