The role focuses on legal document production, case law research, and client intake, working closely with our litigation team to prepare and screen potential matters.

Candidates should hold a J.D. and be eligible for the Wisconsin Bar, possess excellent communication, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree required and eligibility for Wisconsin Bar exam or licensed in Wisconsin.
• Demonstrated superior customer service skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents and pleadings (summons/complaints, motions, discovery).
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law.

Hupy and Abraham S.C., an AV-rated personal injury law firm, is looking for a motivated Associate Attorney (Non-litigation)for our Milwaukee Office.

Our Associate Attorneys (Non-litigation) support our litigation attorneys with legal document production, legal case law research, and screening new client calls. Their duties include, but are not limited to the following;

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft summons/complaints, motions, discovery, and other pleadings
• Legal Research
• Brief Writing
• Screening Potential Clients
• Trial Preparation
• Other duties as assigned by a litigation attorney

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified candidates must have earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and be eligible or in the process of taking the Wisconsin Bar Exam or licensed by the Wisconsin State Bar.
• Demonstrated superior customer service skills
• Innovative problem resolution
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced/dynamic environment
