Job summary

Wicker Smith O’Hara McCoy & Ford, P.A. in Miami is actively seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. Ideal candidates have 2–8 years of experience in general liability and professional liability matters and a strong academic record.

You will manage all aspects of litigation, conduct research, draft pleadings, and represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations, with collaboration from partners.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academics.
• 3–8 years of experience in general liability and/or professional liability defense.
• Active license to practice law in good standing.
• Strong analytical, research and writing skills; writing sample required.
• Excellent communication and advocacy abilities.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with readiness to take on significant responsibility.
