Job summary

Hightower, Stratton, Novigrod, Costello, Uzzi, & Kantor in Miami seeks a Litigation Attorney for the in-office position. You will work closely with our West Palm Beach partner and gain hands-on litigation experience with real opportunities for growth.

We want an attorney eager to be in the courtroom, take initiative, and participate in hearings, depositions, and advancing their defense litigation skills. The role includes mentorship, trial exposure, and meaningful advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of litigation or insurance defense experience.
• Interest in Property Damage litigation and/or Insurance Defense.
• Mentorship and trial exposure opportunities.
• PTO + paid holidays and benefits.

This is an in-office position working closely with our partner in West Palm Beach and offers hands-on litigation experience with real opportunities for growth.

We're looking for an attorney who is eager to be in the courtroom, takes initiative, and enjoys being on their feet for hearings, depositions, and growing their defense litigation skillset.

Responsibilities

• Handle hearings, depositions, mediations, and CMCs
• Draft and argue motions and pleadings
• Conduct legal research and assist in developing case strategies
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel

Requirements

• 1–3 years of litigation or insurance defense experience
• Interest in Property Damage litigation and/or Insurance Defense. (experience not required)
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Proactive, organized, and ambitious mindset
