Job summary

Pacer Group, a leading Am Law 100 law firm, seeks Medical Malpractice Attorneys with experience in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey. Positions span 3 years to Partnership, with remote and hybrid options. Competitive salary range and rapid advancement potential across levels.

Ideal candidates will handle medical malpractice and healthcare litigation, exhibit strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills, and work well both independently and in teams. Admission in NJ/PA required or pending.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and admitted to practice in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania.
• 3+ years of medical malpractice or healthcare litigation experience preferred.
• Experience handling depositions and preparing litigation documents.
• Strong understanding of applicable Rules of Civil Procedure, FRCP, Local Rules, and other relevant regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters.
• Strong academic background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle medical malpractice and healthcare litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, opinion letters, motions, and other legal documents.
• Review and analyze documents for relevance, privilege, and litigation strategy.
• Prepare for, attend, and summarize depositions.
• Coordinate with witnesses and other litigation participants.
• Communicate directly with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
• Conduct legal research and maintain current knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and procedural rules.
• Manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work product.
• Coordinate with paralegals, case assistants, attorneys, vendors, and other legal support staff.
