Job summary

Distinct is seeking an experienced attorney to join its growing litigation practice in New Jersey. This role offers autonomy to run your own cases, while gaining valuable trial experience in a supportive environment with manageable billable hours and a realistic path to partnership.

The ideal candidate has 4–10 years of insurance defense experience, managing cases from start to finish, including trial work. NJ Bar is essential; NY/CT/PA bar admissions are desirable.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of insurance defense experience.
• Experience in Premises Liability, Professional liability, Automobile/Motor Vehicle, Construction is desirable.
• New Jersey Bar admission is essential; NY/CT/PA bar admission are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from filing to trial and resolution.
• Gain trial experience and autonomy to handle own docket.
• Collaborate with clients and co-counsel across east coast offices.
