$185,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr

An AmLaw200 law firm is seeking a Trusts and Estates Associate or Of Counsel Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join their Madison, NJ office.

Responsibilities

• Handle research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters
• Develop and implement estate plans
• Advocate tax positions orally and in writing
• Maintain client relationships
• Able to work with minimal supervision

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in estate planning and estate administration including drafting sophisticated estate planning documents
• NJ Bar Required, NY/FL Bar is a Plus
• JD from law school, LLM in Taxation is Preferred
• Experience preferred but not required: preparing gift and estate tax returns, federal and state tax issues regarding taxation of trusts, corporate and partnership tax issues regarding mergers and acquisitions
• Excellent research, writing and communication skills
