Job summary

Bequette, Billingsley & Kees, PA in the Little Rock metropolitan area is seeking a highly capable Associate Attorney to join our on-site team. Qualifications

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Attorney role based in the Little Rock Metropolitan Area. The Associate Attorney will support the firm’s practice by drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing memoranda and case analyses, taking depositions, reviewing contracts and legal documents for client feedback. The role also involves communicating with clients, coordinating with senior attorneys on case strategy, and appearing at hearings or meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and interest in handling related matters.
• Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice in collaboration with supervising attorneys.
• Proficiency in Research, including legal research tools and written analysis.
• Effective Negotiation skills for client representation, settlements, and dispute resolution.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in Arkansas (or eligibility to obtain promptly).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Prior law firm experience or clerkship experience is preferred but not required.
