Job description

Mandarich Law Group, one of the country's leading creditor's rights law firms with offices across multiple states, is seeking an Associate Attorney licensed in Missouri and residing in the Kansas City, MO metro area.

What You'll Do:

1. Court Appearances: Prepare for and appear in court within travel distance. Reliable timely appearance is essential, with some overnight travel required.
2. Court Coverage Placements: Review and request coverage for court calls where you will not appear, including submitting necessary documents and orders.
3. Mid Litigation Motions and Responses: Draft, review, and file motions as needed during litigation.
4. Trials and Arbitrations: Prepare for trials/arbitrations, potentially involving overnight stays in distant counties.
5. Communications: Interact with consumers, their employers, and attorneys to resolve accounts and suits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed in Missouri; additional licenses in other states (IA, OR, IL, NY, NE, ID, CA, WA, AK, HI, NV) are a plus.
• Comfortable appearing in court and punctual, using your own transportation.
• Willing to travel; travel expenses reimbursed per IRS mileage rates and firm policy.
• Strong multitasking, verbal, and written communication skills for high-volume caseloads.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
