Mandarich Law Group is a leading creditor's rights law firm seeking an Associate Attorney licensed in North Carolina to work in its Charlotte or Raleigh offices. The role requires courtroom appearances and travel as needed.

You will handle court appearances, motions, and case management while coordinating with clients, consumers, and attorneys. Candidates must be NC-licensed; additional licenses welcome. The firm offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the State of North Carolina to practice law.
• Additional licensing in other states (SC, IA, MO, KS, IL, NY, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) welcomed.
• Comfortable appearing in court and ability to appear on time using your own transportation.
• Travel may be required; firm reimburses mileage per IRS rates and travel expenses per policy.
• Multi-tasking and strong verbal and written communication skills for high-volume caseload.
• Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Court Appearances – prepare, appear timely, and handle court appearances within travel distance, sometimes overnight.
• Court Coverage Placements – review and request coverage for court calls and attach necessary documents.
• Mid Litigation Motions and Responses – draft, review, and file motions.
• Trials and Arbitrations – prepare for trials/arbitrations, may require overnight stays in distant counties.
• Communications with Attorneys, Employers, and Consumers – communicate to resolve accounts/suits.

Mandarich Law Group is one of the country’s leading creditor's right law firm with offices in CA, NY, IL, MI, OH, GA, MO and FL, is seeking anAssociate Attorney who is licensed in South Carolina but will work in our Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC office.

What You’ll Do

• Court Appearances – Associate is required to correctly prepare, appear timely, and properly handle court appearances in that are reasonably within travel distance. It is your responsibility to ensure you are able to timely and reliably appear on time at the given courthouse. You may need to travel overnight for certain locations, driving a car is required for some locations.
• Court Coverage Placements – Associate is required to review and appropriately request coverage where necessary for all court calls where an Associate will not appear including the attachment of all necessary documents for the attorney’s appearance as well as any orders necessary for the requested coverage results.
• Mid Litigation Motions and Responses – Associate may be required to draft, review, and file any necessary motions during the course of litigation.
• Trials and Arbitrations – Associate may be required to prepare for trials/arbitrations as necessary for the firm which may include overnight stays in distant counties.
• Communications with Attorneys, Employers, and Consumers – Associate is required to communicate with consumers, consumer’s employers, and consumer’s attorneys as necessary to resolve accounts/suits.

• Licensed in the State of North Carolina to practice law. Additional licensing in other states (SC, IA, MO, KS, IL, NY, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) is welcomed.
• Comfortable appearing in court and the ability to appear on time consistently using your own method of transportation.
• Travel may be required, the firm reimburses in accordance with IRS published mileage rates, and other firm approved travel expenses will be reimbursed the subsequent pay period following submittal for reimbursement.
• Multi-tasking and strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for a high-volume case load.
