McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLP seeks a bankruptcy attorney with 2-3 years of experience, including at least 1 year representing creditors in Texas Bankruptcy Courts. The role emphasizes end-to-end strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk management for secured creditor matters.
Candidate must be admitted to the Bar, possess strong writing and verbal skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with many concurrent matters.
Represent institutional mortgage lenders and servicers in bankruptcy matters with a focus on protecting and enforcing secured‑creditor rights in Chapters 7, 13, and 11. Provide end‑to‑end legal strategy across the lifecycle of a bankruptcy case, including proof of claim, motions for relief from stay, plan review and objection, loan modification and loss‑mitigation oversight, and post‑petition compliance. Advise clients on complex bankruptcy, servicing, and investor‑guideline issues to ensure regulatory compliance, minimize financial risk, and maximize recoveries while maintaining borrower‑facing and court‑facing credibility.
