• Recent California Bar license required.
• Open to defense work in insurance defense matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defense litigation caseload under the guidance of experienced attorneys.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions, and prepare cases for mediation, hearings, and trial.
• Conduct legal research and assess liability, damages, and case strategy.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, experts, and opposing counsel.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is $125,000- $200,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
