Elite Talent Solutions is partnering with a growing law firm in Atlanta seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney for civil defense. This role offers meaningful ownership of cases, increasing autonomy, and a clear path toward partnership.

The position is hybrid – three days in the office, with a competitive salary of $130,000–$160,000 and full-time employment. Qualified candidates must have 4–9 years in civil defense litigation and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 4–9 years of civil defense litigation experience.
• Experience handling general liability, premises liability, bodily injury, personal injury defense, or related matters.
• Prior experience with a defense-side litigation firm.
• Strong legal writing, communication, and case-management skills.
• Ability to independently manage 15 or more active matters.
• No book of business required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of general liability defense matters, including premises liability, bodily injury, and personal injury claims.
• Draft and respond to motions, pleadings, complaints, and written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend court hearings, client meetings, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel.
• Handle cases independently while working under partner supervision.
• Assist with trial strategy and preparation.
