Job summary

The Nunez Law Firm in Orlando with a satellite office in Fort Myers seeks an Associate Attorney to advance client cases through the litigation process. You will work directly with our Managing Attorney and senior lawyers to provide mentorship, training, and feedback.

The ideal candidate is Florida Bar–in good standing, has personal injury experience, and is proficient with Florida’s E-Portal. This in-person role offers competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• At least one year of personal injury experience (preferred).
• Previous litigation experience (preferred).
• Proficiency with Florida’s E-Portal, including e-filing, drafting motions, and answering discovery.
• Ability to handle a caseload independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Attending Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) with clients.
• Conducting recorded statements via phone.
• Drafting and electronically filing litigation documents using Florida’s E-Portal.
• Scheduling and coordinating mediations, depositions, and court hearings.
• Managing discovery and responding to motions.
• Maintaining frequent and empathetic communication with clients.
• Collaborating with other attorneys and support staff to manage a growing caseload efficiently.

What You’ll Do:

As an Associate Attorney at The Nunez Law Firm, you will play a vital role in advocating for our clients throughout the legal process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Attending Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) with clients
• Conducting recorded statements via phone
• Drafting and electronically filing litigation documents using Florida’s E-Portal
• Scheduling and coordinating mediations, depositions, and court hearings
• Managing discovery and responding to motions

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone who is organized, client-focused, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced office setting where priorities shift quickly and communication is key.

• Active membership in the Florida Bar and in good standing (required)
• At least one year of personal injury experience (preferred)
• Previous litigation experience (preferred)
• Proficiency with Florida’s E-Portal, including e-filing, drafting motions, and answering discovery
• Ability to handle a caseload independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $125,000 annually, based on experience
• Bonus pay opportunities based on performance

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• This is an in-person role based out of our Orlando office
