Job description

Morgan & Morgan is looking for an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing practice of plaintiff's lawyers and supporting case staff in our office in Phoenix, Arizona. The Litigation Attorney will handle motor vehicle liability / automobile accident cases in litigation representing plaintiffs in Arizona. The lawyer's responsibilities will be focused on litigating cases, including trial prep and trial, but will not have to generally handle pre-suit matters. Our law firm's generous and competitive compensation includes a base salary, non-recoverable draw, and standard commission fees / bonuses, as well as a full benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day handling of litigation cases
  • Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memoranda
  • Guide plaintiff clients through the case process
  • Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
  • Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
Qualifications
  • Law degree (J.D. / JD / Juris Doctor) from a fully accredited law school
  • An active member in good standing with the State Bar Association in AZ
  • Ideally 3+ years of Personal Injury / auto liability / MVA experience
  • Ability to manage high volume of litigation casesExcellent client service and communication skills
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
  • Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
