Job summary

Modern Family Law, a rapidly expanding national law firm, seeks a hybrid Family Law Associate Attorney for our Everett office. The role offers remote-first work with brick-and-mortar space as needed by courts and clients, a low billable-hours target, and opportunities for direct client contact and early substantive litigation experience.

Be prepared to handle divorce, custody, and support matters, draft documents, and participate in depositions and court appearances.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of Family Law experience.
• Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates.
• Active admission to the Washington State Bar.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.

Compensation

$135,000 - $199,680 annually. This range is a reliable estimate of the base salary plus projected bonuses and billable hour commission that this individual is expected to receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance with an optional Health Savings Account (HSA), short-term disability, long-term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k) Retirement Plan, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.

Additional voluntary programs include voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life insurance, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, voluntary critical illness and cancer insurance, and pet insurance. Commuter and transit benefit programs may also be available in certain markets.

• 0-3 years of Family Law experience.
• Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates interested in practicing Family Law.
