Job description

Mandarich Law Group, a leading creditor's rights law firm with offices across multiple states, is seeking an Associate Attorney for our Charlotte, NC office.

What You'll Do

1. Court Appearances: Prepare, appear timely, and handle court appearances within reasonable travel distance. Reliable punctuality and ability to travel overnight are required.
2. Court Coverage Placements: Review and request coverage for court calls where an Associate will not appear, including submitting necessary documents and orders.
3. Mid Litigation Motions and Responses: Draft, review, and file motions during litigation.
4. Trials and Arbitrations: Prepare for trials/arbitrations, which may include overnight stays in distant counties.
5. Communications: Communicate with consumers, employers, and attorneys to resolve accounts and suits.

What You'll Need

1. Licensed in North Carolina to practice law; additional licenses in states like SC, IA, MO, KS, IL, NY, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV are welcomed.
2. Comfortable appearing in court and punctuality using your own transportation.
3. Willing to travel; travel expenses are reimbursed per IRS mileage rates and firm policies.
4. Strong multi-tasking, verbal, and written communication skills for a high-volume caseload.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
