Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Associate Attorney for a Colorado-based Family Law practice. The role requires on-site work in Denver, with a start date ASAP and a salary range of $110,000–$150,000 depending on experience.

The attorney will support partners with divorce, custody, and related domestic matters, drafting pleadings, researching law, and preparing for hearings and trials. The ideal candidate has a J.D.

Qualifications

  • Must have J.D. and active Colorado Bar.
  • 3+ years Family Law or Civil Litigation experience.
  • Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and briefs.
  • Experience attending hearings and supporting trial preparation.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and staff.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support partners and senior attorneys on family law matters, including divorce, custody, and support.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings and trials.
  • Maintain direct communication with clients throughout litigation.
  • Learn firm processes and expectations, then assume independent caseloads.
  • Manage fast-paced litigation while coordinating priorities and deadlines.

Job description

Location: On-site in their Denver, Colorado locations

Start Date: ASAP

  • First round virtual with team (30 min virtual)
  • Final in person with team
Must Have Skills:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active Colorado Bar admission
  • 3+ years of Family Law and/or Civil Litigation experience
  • Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and legal briefs
  • Experience attending hearings and supporting trial preparation
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of Family Law experience
  • Experience independently managing a full caseload
  • Judicial clerkship or judicial law clerk experience
  • Experience handling matters from intake through resolution
  • Existing relationships within the Colorado legal community
  • Trial experience beyond preparation and support functions
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

A Family Law firm based in Colorado is looking to add an Associate to their team! This Associate Attorney will support partners and senior attorneys on a variety of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and other domestic relations cases. The individual will draft motions, pleadings, and legal documents, conduct legal research, prepare for hearings and trial proceedings, and maintain direct communication with clients throughout the litigation process. Initially, the attorney will assist with active cases while learning the firm's processes and expectations. Over time, they will assume greater ownership of matters and develop an independent caseload. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment, can manage competing priorities and court deadlines, and values collaboration and mentorship while building toward long-term career growth within the firm. This role will be on-site in Denver, Colorado and is offering a salary of $110,000-$150,000k based on years of experience.
