Job summary

Bieser, Greer & Landis is seeking an Associate attorney to begin their career as an advocate fighting for clients. Since 1854, the firm has valued professional advocates and problem solvers who hit the ground running.

Associates will gain hands-on deposition experience, participate in hearings, and have opportunities for trial work, including opportunities before appellate courts. The firm emphasizes growth beyond backroom support.

Qualifications

• They have defended dozens of depositions.
• They have conducted dozens of depositions (including those of expert witnesses).
• They have participated in dozens of hearings and given dozens of arguments in trial courts.
• They have each had trial experience as first or second chair.
• They have each argued before a State of Ohio Court of Appeals.
• One has argued before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
• Another has argued before the Ohio Supreme Court.

Responsibilities

• There will always be documents to review, research to be done, and memos to be drafted, but what we promise our Associates is that if they truly want to be an advocate and problem solver, rather than simply being backroom support for advocates and problem solvers, they will have the opportunity not long after joining us.
