Job summary

A busy law office in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an Associate Attorney specialized in immigration law. The role requires a minimum of three years of experience and a valid Ohio law license. The attorney will be responsible for preparing legal documents and representing clients at court appearances. Spanish fluency is advantageous. This position is primarily full-time but part-time candidates will also be considered. Legal writing samples must accompany applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience practicing immigration law.
• Ability to prepare legal paperwork and correspondence effectively.
• Willingness to travel approximately 1-2 times per month.
• Willing to travel about 1–2 times per month, mainly to Cleveland.
• Position is full-time preferred; part-time considered.

Job Summary

Busy small law office specializing in immigration law with an immediate need for an Associate Attorney. The candidate must have at least three years experience practicing immigration law. Spanish fluency is a big plus. Primary duties include preparing immigration forms, pleadings, legal briefs, motions and other general legal paperwork and correspondence, affidavits, consultations, and court/immigration office appearances. The candidate must be willing to travel approximately 1-2 times per month with the majority of the travel being to the Cleveland Immigration Court.
