Role Description

The Associate Attorney will provide legal services to clients in the diverse area of real estate including foreclosure, bankruptcy and litigation as well as related practice areas, including legal research, drafting pleadings and other documents, and preparing for and attending hearings, negotiations, and other proceedings. The role involves advising clients on compliance, policies, and risk management, evaluating claims, and developing practical strategies to resolve disputes. The Associate Attorney will work closely with partners and other team members, participate in case strategy meetings, and communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Highland Heights, KY with expectations for active participation in firm meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational skills in Law, including admission to the Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Tennessee or Kentucky bar (or eligibility for reciprocity) and experience or interest in Real Estate Law.
• Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to a diverse client base, including businesses, organizations, and individuals.
• Proficiency in legal Research, including statutory and case law analysis, and the ability to synthesize complex information into concise written work product.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics, client service, and collaborative work within a team-based firm environment.
• 0-5 years of experience requested - Looking for a driven individual who is eager to learn and expand their knowledge in this role.
• Highly seeking Tennessee and Michigan licensed attorney for possible remote/ hybrid position.
• Experience with bankruptcy or foreclosure is preferred and highly valued, but not required.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; strong academic record and relevant internships, clerkships, or clinical experience are beneficial.
