We are working with an Award Winning law Firm, looking for an Associate Attorney to join their team. Specifically, they are looking for someone who has 2+ years experience. This role is hybrid.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience
• Open to working for an Insurance Defense firm
• Previous experience in either; commercial litigation, insurance defense, complex litigation, insurance coverage, personal injury, etc.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in South Carolina

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from initial claim evaluation to final resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal and factual research, and develop effective defense strategies for clients.
• Draft various legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs to support defense strategies.
• Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for these proceedings

The annual salary for this position is between 130k-160k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
