The ideal candidate is licensed in California, possesses strong negotiation, research, and writing skills, and is capable of handling high-value cases from intake through trial. The firm offers direct trial exposure, mentorship from seasoned litigators, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of experience in personal injury or general liability litigation.
• Trial experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Draft and prepare briefs, settlement offers, discovery motions, and trial filings.
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses, parties, and experts.
• Manage client communication and keep clients informed throughout the case.
• Interview clients, assess facts, identify legal issues, and build case strategies.
• Negotiate favorable settlements with opposing counsel.
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness interviews and evidence gathering.
• Represent clients in mediations, settlement conferences, and courtroom proceedings.
• Educate clients about their rights and responsibilities at each stage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and prepare briefs, settlement offers, discovery motions, summary judgment motions, and trial filings.
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses, parties, and experts.
• Manage client communication, keeping clients informed and prepared throughout their case.
• Interview clients, assess facts, identify legal issues, and build effective case strategies.
• Negotiate favorable settlements with opposing counsel.
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness interviews, evidence gathering, and investigation.
• Represent clients in mediations, settlement conferences, and courtroom proceedings.
• Educate clients about their legal rights and responsibilities at each stage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of experience in personal injury or general liability litigation.
• Trial experience strongly preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable, cost-effective settlements.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize a large and complex caseload.
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
