Role Description

The Associate Attorney will be a full-time, on-site team member based in Birmingham, AL. The role involves meeting with clients, analyzing case facts, providing legal advice under supervision, and preparing case strategies. The Associate Attorney will participate in negotiations, settlement discussions, and hearings, and may assist with trial preparation and courtroom appearances.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience or coursework in Labor and Employment Law.
• Ability to provide clear and sound Legal Advice, including client counseling and case assessment.
• Proficiency in legal Research, including case law, statutes, regulations, and secondary sources.
• Effective Negotiation skills for settlement discussions and dispute resolution.
• Juris Doctor (JD) (or eligibility) to practice law in Alabama.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in drafting and reviewing documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple matters.
• Commitment to ethical practice, client service, and teamwork in a litigation-focused environment.
• Prior experience or internships in personal injury or labor and employment law are preferred but not required.
