Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited institution.
• Three years of full-time experience as a certified athletic trainer.
• Certified Athletic Trainer in good standing with the NATABOC.
• Current licensure as an Athletic Trainer in Michigan or eligibility for licensure.
• Current CPR/AED certification for healthcare provider.
• Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Willingness to travel and work irregular hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Certified Athletic Trainer for assigned intercollegiate teams.
• Provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, referral, and rehabilitation.
• Coordinate individualized care plans with Medical Director and team physicians.
• Develop and supervise surgical and non-surgical rehabilitation programs.
• Document medical services in the department's electronic injury tracking system.
• Collaborate with coaches, staff, and insurance regarding health statuses and care planning.
