Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide treatment, first aid and sports medicine coverage for athletic events under contract with a college or university. The role focuses on patient-centered care aligned with standards, physician orders, and affiliate policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in athletic training or equivalent approved by NATA.
• Certified athletic trainer with required licenses.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, prevent, and rehabilitate athletic injuries for the designated school during practices and games.
• Provide treatment techniques to restore optimal functioning in patient care.
• Report patient progress to Team Physician and note any reactions to therapy.
• Complete daily documentation per affiliate policy and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patient/family in home education program and teach relevant routines.
