Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
NATA BOC certification and Tennessee State Licensure or eligible; CPR, AED, First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate athletic training services for student-athletes, primarily men’s basketball.
Assist with prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, physician referral, and medical documentation of injuries.
Coordinate concussion and baseline testing for all assigned student athletes; supervise daily practice and game coverage, in-season travel, and summer workouts.
Provide direct supervision of intern athletic trainers and graduate students; instruct on prevention, care and rehabilitation.
Attend national meetings to stay current with NCAA, CAATE and NATA rules and report violations to Compliance.
