Job summary

Vanderbilt Athletics is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to support the Men's Basketball program. You will work with NCAA Division I student-athletes, partnering with team physicians and performance staff to deliver injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and return-to-play services.

Under the Director of Sports Medicine, you'll help promote athlete health and safety in a fast-paced college sports environment, with evening, weekend, and travel requirements.

Qualifications

BOC certification required for athletic trainers.
Eligible for TN licensure or currently licensed in Tennessee.
CPR/AED certification required.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Athletic Trainer for the Men's Basketball program during practices, games, and travels.
Evaluate, treat, and manage athletic injuries following sports medicine protocols.
Develop injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-play programs.
Coordinate care with team physicians and Vanderbilt University Medical Center specialists.
Collaborate with strength & conditioning, nutrition, mental health, and performance staff.
