Job summary

CSC Leasing is seeking an Associate, Asset Management in Richmond, VA. You will drive off-lease returns, sales, and inventory activities from start to finish, optimizing value and maintaining strong customer relations.

You will report to the VP, Asset Management and work with the Sr. Associate to own the function, ensuring efficient processes, high-quality outcomes, and measurable KPIs across returns, sales, and inventory.

Overview Of Role

As an Associate, Asset Management, you are the engine behind CSC’s off-lease returns, sales, and inventory operations—the person who turns end-of-lease equipment into recovered value for the business. This is a role built for someone who loves to execute and take ownership: you keep returns moving, off-lease equipment selling, and inventory sharp and current. You’ll run returns and sales from start to finish, hunt down value in aging equipment through smart remarketing, and consistently deliver standout outcomes for customers and disposition partners alike. You’ll report to the VP, Asset Management and grow under the mentorship of the Sr. Associate, Asset Management—with real ownership, real impact, and a clear runway to make the function your own.

Key Responsibilities

The Associate owns the execution and management of CSC’s off-lease returns, sales, and inventory functions. The primary objectives of the function are to maximize off-lease sales values while providing superior service to both our customers and disposition partners. They are responsible and accountable to the VP, Asset Management, with mentorship and guidance from the Sr. Associate—for the responsibilities below.

Off-Lease Returns Function

• Owning the off-lease returns process from end to end, including customer communications and coordinating return logistics
• Determining ShipTo locations and managing logistics for off-lease returns
• Delivering a best-in-class customer experience throughout the returns process
• Meeting and exceeding SLA’s and KPI’s across the returns function
• Managing and maximizing end of lease profitability while maintaining best-in-class customer experience
• Partnering with the Sr. Associate role on complex or high-profile returns

Off-Lease Sales Function

• Owning off-lease sales from end to end, including determining the disposition strategy and leading negotiations with disposition partners
• Building the disposition strategy, remarketing campaign, and/or retail channel listings
• Building and strengthening relationships with existing disposition partners
• Helping to uncover new disposition partners, retail channels, and sale methods
• Meeting and exceeding off-lease sales SLA’s and KPI’s across the function
• Partnering with the Sr. Associate, Asset Management on complex or high-profile sales

Inventory Management

• Responsible for helping manage off-lease inventory and KPI attainment
• Proactively managing aging equipment and prioritizing it for sale, auction or retirement
• Building and running remarketing campaigns that turn aged and slow-moving equipment into recovered value and drive inventory churn and velocity
• Assisting with quarterly inventory audits to keep physical inventory organized and in compliance
• Maintaining a log of accurate fair market value of equipment in inventory
• Finding better ways to improve inventory management, churn, and velocity

Reporting & KPI Performance

• Building and maintaining sharp reporting on returns, sales, and inventory activity, status, and results
• Tracking and reporting on SLA and KPI performance across the returns, sales, and inventory functions
• Sales activity tracking across remarketing campaigns

Customer Satisfaction

• Delivering a best-in-class customer experience across the returns & sales process
• Building positive, professional relationships with customers throughout the end-of-lease experience
