Job summary

CONMED is seeking an Assembly Technician in Largo, FL to perform precise assembly and packaging of medical products following written and verbal instructions.

You will check assemblies, operate packaging equipment, follow clean room PPE rules, label and document work, and perform preventative maintenance while supporting special projects as needed. This position requires basic English skills and the ability to lift 20 pounds and stand for 10 hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year work experience in assembly and packaging operations.
• Basic English speaking/comprehension/reading ability.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds and stand 10 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Check work for proper assembly; may use microscope to ensure specifications are met.
• Set up and operate various packaging devices.
• Follow all clean room gowning requirements (PPE).
• Assemble, label, and package steril e and non-sterile products or sub-assemblies following established procedures and complete paperwork.
• Print labels as required and complete associated paperwork.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Able to work at established production rates and demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
