Job summary

CONMED is seeking an assembler in Largo, FL to follow written and verbal instructions to assemble, label and package sterile and non-sterile products. This role may require using a microscope to ensure specifications are met and adherence to all clean-room PPE protocols.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of assembly/packaging experience, be able to lift 20 pounds and stand for 10 hours per shift, and possess basic English reading/comprehension skills.

• Ability to lift 20 pounds and stand 10 hours/day.
• Basic English speaking/comprehension/reading ability required.

• Check work for proper assembly; may use microscope to verify specifications.
• Set up and operate packaging devices and print labels.
• Assemble, label, and package sterile and non-sterile products following procedures.
• Follow clean room gowning requirements (PPE) and complete paperwork.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and machines as required.

Must be able to stand 10 hours/day.Knowledge Requirements:Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Able to work at established production rates and demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
