Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture.
• 2–3 years of full-time architectural experience.
• Strong interest in classical architectural design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to commute to NYC office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Be an essential part of a project team working on all phases of a design project from Pre-Design through Construction Administration
• Assist in developing design concepts, researching applicable historical precedent, and preparing presentation materials
• Produce drawings and models with direction from the design team and senior staff
• Assist in project coordination and the production of project documentation
• Assist with survey and analysis of existing site conditions
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and senior members of a team to produce deliverables accurately and on time
• Prepare for and attend meetings with clients and consultants, record decisions, and issue notes
• Assist in coordination efforts with other project professionals
• Develop clear, carefully considered drawings.
• Communicate effectively in written and oral formats
• Self-check own work and the work of other team members for completeness and accuracy
