Responsibilities

  • Develop details responsive to real field conditions.

Full-Time | $75,000 + partial medical insurance reimbursement

Allen + Pepa Architects is seeking a Revit power-user with strong technical skills and experience working on existing buildings, renovations, and adaptive reuse projects. This role is ideal for an architect who enjoys owning the model, resolving complex conditions, and producing clear, coordinated construction documents. Our projects are located throughout Northern Illinois, DuPage County, and select locations across the country.

  • New construction integrated with existing conditions
Responsibilities
  • Lead project development from Schematic Design through Construction Documents
  • Build, manage, and coordinate Revit models for existing and proposed work
  • Produce permit and bid drawing sets
  • Coordinate closely with consulting engineers
  • Develop details responsive to real field conditions
  • Create renderings using Revit and Enscape, with Photoshop enhancements
  • Assist with construction bid review and documentation
  • Assist in Project Management of all active projects
Technical Requirements
  • 5+ years professional architectural experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit (required)
  • Capable in revising the Revit Template relative to a variety of Project Types
  • Strong experience with existing-building documentation and Matterport
  • Working knowledge of IBC, ADA, Energy Codes, and Existing Building Codes
  • Ability to manage phasing, worksets, linked models, and construction detailing
  • Exceptional organizational and coordination skills
Qualifications
  • Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited U.S. program
  • Experience producing Construction Documents in a professional architecture firm
  • $75,000 annual salary, based on experience
