business applications, independently resolve routine issues, implement enhancements, and help ensure the applications

Responsibilities
- Take primary responsibility for the ongoing support and maintenance of assigned business applications after launch.
- Independently investigate and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and user-reported problems.
- Review, prioritize, and address issues identified through automated code reviews and tracked in GitHub.
- Plan and implement minor features, workflow changes, integrations, and usability improvements.
- Troubleshoot issues across application code, databases, authentication, permissions, and integrations.
- Evaluate potential solutions, make sound technical decisions, and recognize when an issue requires escalation.
- Test, document, and release changes while protecting the stability of existing applications.
- Monitor application health and proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Manage Microsoft account authentication and role-based user access.
- Work directly with business users to understand needs, recommend practical solutions, and confirm successful outcomes.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and application support records.
- Coordinate with the core development team on larger enhancements and architectural changes.
- Develop a strong understanding of the supported applications and serve as a dependable technical resource for the organization.
- Assume increasing ownership of the application portfolio as experience and familiarity grow.
Qualifications
- Some hands‑on experience developing, supporting, or troubleshooting software applications.
- A foundational understanding of web applications, databases, APIs, and source control.
- Experience with at least one programming language or application development framework.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git and platforms such as GitHub.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to investigate unfamiliar systems and learn from existing code.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple issues or requests.
- Interest in Microsoft Azure, cloud applications, and AI‑assisted development.
- A responsible approach to using AI tools, including reviewing and testing AI‑generated code and recommendations.
