Job summary

prAna is seeking an Associate Apparel Designer to support the women’s design team in the outdoor lifestyle category. You will collaborate with designers and cross‑functional partners to ensure design integrity, quality, and timely development of products.

Office in Carlsbad with a four‑day in‑office expectation, and a collaborative, fast‑paced atmosphere. You will contribute to line sheets, color and fabric BOM entries, and assist with line reviews and presentations while growing your knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in apparel design, textiles, manufacturing, graphics, or related field.
Typically 3–5 years of apparel design experience, outdoor industry preferred.
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Solid knowledge of fabrics and trims and garment construction methods.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator; solid MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain technical apparel illustrations and construction details for complex products across the development season.
Own and update seasonal line sheets with style, color, and supply information for the team.
Assist with major line reviews, sales meetings, presentations, and design kickoff weeks.
Enter color and material data into BOM in PLM, maintaining brand standards.
Attend style reviews and fit sessions; update sketches based on feedback.
