Job summary

Perform Properties seeks an Analytics Engineer to turn multi-source data into trusted, well-modeled datasets for reporting, BI, and AI across Investments, Portfolio, Operations and Finance. You will own the transformation layer, building curated, source-of-truth data for automated reporting and faster insights.

Based in the office five days a week, you will collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics to enable self-service analytics while maintaining data quality and governance, with a focus

Qualifications

• 5+ years building data models and pipelines in analytics or BI roles.
• Strong SQL and data transformation experience with modern warehouses.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build data transformation layers delivering clean, trusted information to the data warehouse.
• Shift reporting to scalable silver/gold data layers and enable self-service capabilities.
• Ensure data quality with lineage, tests, and definitions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support governance and AI use with domain expertise.

Sitting between Data Engineering and Analytics, this role owns the transformation layer: the models, tests, and documentation that feed reporting, BI, and AI across Investments, Portfolio, Operations and Finance. This is a hands-on, high-leverage role, building the curated, source-of-truth foundation that lets Perform automate reporting, cut the coordination tax between systems, and shorten the time-to-Insight for decision-makers.This role reports to the Vice President, Data & Analytics and is based in the office, 5 days a week.-Essential Job FunctionsBuild data transformation layers that deliver clean, unambiguous, stakeholder-ready information to our data warehouseShift measurement decisions from ad-hoc queries and BI tools to flexible silver and gold data layersEnable recurring, exploratory, and self-service reporting capabilities, driving stakeholders to make faster, better-informed decisions in their daily workEnsure data quality via documented lineage, automated checks, and clear definitions, making our results trustworthy by defaultSupport data governance & stakeholder engagement, encouraging accuracy in interpretationModel the successful use of AI as a capability, leveraging data model outputs via MCPs, and balancing AI tooling efficiencies with domain expertise-Qualifications and Technical Competencies5+ years building data models and pipelines in an analytics engineering, data engineering and/or BI engineering roleAdvanced proficiency in SQL and DBT (or a comparable transformation and testing framework)Demonstrable success working with modern data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, RedShift)Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Experience with cloud-hosted data visualization toolingWorking knowledge of dimensional modelling, curated / medallion-layer design, Git and CI/CD for analyticsDemonstrable ability to translate business questions into durable data models with agreed metric definitionsStrong requirements-gathering and stakeholder-management skillsNice-to-havesAdvanced proficiency in Azure Platform as a ServiceProficiency in common data engineering tools (Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory)Advanced proficiency in common visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Analytics, or relevant tertiary education-Benefits & CompensationBenefits: The Company provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).Base Salary Range: $135,000 - $185,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of the Company’s base salary range for this position.
